[Venue] The Grand Hall at Copper Station at the Copper Mountain Ski Resort
Copper Mountain has great options for mountain weddings, and one of my favorite local venues is here. I'm talking about the Grand Hall at Copper Station. This big room has an upstairs mini-room that can be used for the ceremony if your outside ceremony wishes get rained out.
The sky chutes can be seen carved in the Ten Mile Range, while the Gore Range stretches towards Vail. Leadville is a short drive away, as is the other towns of Summit County, the closest being Frisco. Check out the layout on our map by clicking here.
The guys can play a few rounds of golf throughout the week, or do a tour of local courses. Ask us how we can help set up your golf and brewery tours. Now, that sounds like fun.

Old school mountain dudes.
The cocktail tables have great views of the mountains.
You can see the mini-room looking down on the main room here. The stairs are just to the right, with stairs that drop to the main level that house a pub and general ski lodge and golf course amenities.
The ceremony spot for both sunny and rainy days. Otherwise, I've seen weddings on both the nearby grass, and chairs set up on the pavement where the golf carts park. Be sure to ask what the current recommendations are, as venues change from season to season with what works best over time.

It's so interesting to see how the couples put their own look and personality into their wedding. I really liked this modern color palette using cool, greenish-grey table cover with darker orange table runner. How will you show your style?
Now, if you look just above the railing in the image above, I've seen weddings on that grass, next to the deck on the right, and the clump of bushes on the left. And, I've seen them on the lot. Or, you can use the big room, or mini-room. I bet that isn't it's name. I'll have to find out what they call it. Until next time! Thanks for reading.
Please contact us to talk about all the different options that exist for a destination wedding at the Copper Mountain ski area. We've been to some nice ski-in, ski-out properties that would be great for a winter wedding. But, summer is super popular for many reasons.
