Mountain Town: Breckenridge, Colorado [Video]

One of my goals with starting Summit Mountain Weddings was to share videos about the fabulous places, including my home, Mountain Town: Breckenridge, Colorado, which I made this video to show you a glimpse of what our Victorian mining abode is like. The Utes called this place home for many thousands of years, but when gold was mentioned at a bar in Kansas, the gold rush was on. Miners staked claims in the valleys and one even found the biggest chunk of gold ever found in Colorado, Tom's Baby. The downtown area is a historic set of buildings, while the ski runs of the Breckenridge Ski Resort loom over town. Chairlifts and the Breck Connect Gondola stretch from the valley floor to Peaks 8 and 9, eventually connecting with the highest chairlift in North America, the Imperial Chair. This flying couch brings you steps away from the summit of Peak 8.
