The wedding day starts off with a gondola ride so folks can be there for Carrie + Mike: Alpenglow Stube Wedding at the Keystone Ski Resort, images courtesy of Black Forest Photography. Once at the top of the mountain, the guests walk to the Keytop Overlook, for an outside ceremony with views of Mt. Baldy, Mt. Guyot, the Breckenridge Ski Resort, the Ten Mile Range and the Continental Divide. Guests may need supplemental oxygen at this point, because if the dramatic mountain ceremony doesn't take their breath away, the lack of oxygen at 11,000 feet just might. Just kidding! Actually, acute altitude sickness is a real thing. Please seek help immediately if someone in your party is experiencing difficulties breathing or doesn't feel right. Health and safety is priority #1.
Alpenglow Stube Reception Dinner
After dinner, and probably before, the guests might be consuming alcohol. I recommend matching one glass of water for every glass of wine, beer, or shot you consume. That, and some good food, and you're ready to party all night. The chefs at the Alpenglow Stube put on a tremendous dinner experience, and a nice touch to end the evening is to send guests home with a blanket, LED glow stick of some kind, as the gondolas are not illuminated. Most cell phones have lights too, so that's always an option.

Keystone has a very special meaning to Carrie and Mike so they chose it to say their vows. It was a very special family affair with their children as their wedding party. Many tears of joy were shed. What a magnificent setting for a wonderful couple.
