It was just a few years ago when the Black Mountain Lodge was remodeled and this mid-mountain option provided a stunning new backdrop for brides and grooms. Guests ride a chairlift, and a nice outdoor deck sets the East Wall as your natural landscape setting. Inside the lodge are huge windows and a nice, simple set up that will leave your guests talking.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort Lodge for Events

During the winter season, one big plus is that A-Basin is accessible with your Vail Resorts pass that works at Keystone and Breckenridge. Skiing and snowboarding is a possibility for any spring wedding in the mountains during the months of April and May. No guarantees on June though, and how long it will stay open. Not long enough for some diehards, but oh well, the maintenance roads have to be plowed. And locked. That's a good thing because locked gates mean that AWD enthusiasts won't come ripping by your event and make for a mountain top Jeep fest. Here is Sara & Kurt's A-basin Wedding. They both frequently ski and snowboard up at A-basin. There was one particular ski day that Sara was sitting in the lodge at the top of the mountain while Kurt was finishing a few runs, and she though, "We should get married here!" They both wanted a smaller mountain wedding and this seemed like the perfect place. Once they contacted Meredith the Event Coordinator for A-basin, they knew this was the perfect place for them to get married. My experience was just as good! A-basin offers incredible views for a wedding day, and if any Bride & Groom are wanting the perfect mountain wedding venue, they need to check out A-Basin as an option. Once you talk to Meredith you'll fall in love with the location even more!
