Anastasia + Nathan: Chautauqua Park Engagement Photography
Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado
When you're driving towards Boulder, the Flat Irons are on your left, and are the backdrop for today's post, Anastasia + Nathan: Chautauqua Park Engagement Photography, with images courtesy of BTW Photography. The foothills near Denver are a quick and easy way for couples on the Front Range of Colorado to get that dramatic backdrop, perfect for engagement photos. As you can see here, the couple changed clothes to mix up the feel, as they moved around locations. Once you have a nice set of photos, you can pepper them among your friends and family.
Rocky Mountain Engagement Photography
For folks considering the Rocky Mountains for a Destination Wedding, Vow Renewal or Elopement can choose the mountain towns, which typically reside at 8,000 feet or higher, while the Denver area is in the 5,000 foot range (Hence the moniker, the "Mile High City"). If any of your guests have questionable health issues, we recommend a night or two of acclimation in Denver before heading up to say, Breckenridge, which is at almost 10,000 feet.

While visiting Annie's dad in Paris, Nate placed clues for Annie to follow all around the city, taking her to antique bookstores, coffee shops, the Louvre, and finally the Eiffel Tower, where she was met by Nate, a single rose, and an heirloom engagement ring. The diamond of the ring was the same diamond Nate's father used to propose to his mother. Years earlier, Annie mentioned she liked a ring while window shopping. Nate, to her surprise, got the ring and held onto it for years, knowing he would one day use it to propose to her.Nate and Annie currently live in Boulder, Colorado. The photos were taken around town. The Flatiron Mountains served as a perfect backdrop when we shot at the Chautauqua Park.Later, we drove up to the Flagstaff Amphitheater, where Nate serenaded Annie with his guitar and we filmed what will become a Love Story film that will be showed at their wedding. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better couple or a more picturesque location.
