Alisha + Alex: Keystone Resort Engagement Photography
Summit County, Colorado Romantic Winter Getaway
Today's post is all about Alisha + Alex: Keystone Resort Engagement Photography with images courtesy of Dan Hand Photography. This couple made it a priority to visit Keystone, Colorado for their engagement photography session, and not too far away was Sapphire Point, an overlook an outdoor wedding ceremony location. There's a short walking loop that is about a mile near the overlook, so after your photos, wedding or vow renewal, you can take a stroll and see the geography of where three rivers meet, the Snake, Blue, and Ten Mile Creek, and are now where Dillon Reservoir gets its water. It freezes over in the winter, as you can see in these pics.
Engagement Photography at the Keystone Resort
We recommend the River Run Village in Keystone for a fun mountain base setting, or take the gondola up and have dinner at the Alpenglow Stube or Der Fondue Chessel at Timber Ridge on North Peak. Top it off with a sleigh ride during the winter, or downhill mountain bike ride in the summer. Winter is our favorite, for many reasons, and night skiing is just one of them. After smiling and posing for pics all day, have a hearty dinner before bundling up for the nighttime adventure of riding under the lights. You'll rely on your ability to absorb and read the terrain by feel more than by your eyes. Wear a helmet, drink hot cocoa and have some fun! Please contact us to learn more about how we can set up a photo shoot, destination elopement, wedding or vow renewal!
Alex and Alisha live in Omaha and frequently travel to Colorado to ski each winter. While visiting Keystone in February they wanted to have engagement photos taken after a day on the slopes. They had tons of chemistry and it really showed on camera. The weather was perfect.
