This couple chose to have their ceremony and reception at a private residence in the presence of the Gore Range. On the eastern side of the valley is the Williams Fork Range, the closest peak being Ptarmigan. No need for a big venue with this small and intimate gathering. Nothing wrong with that, it's what the couple wanted. And, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, there are no rules anymore. You can have the wedding you want. Don't listen to anyone telling you that you need to have it in a big venue. You can even choose to elope if that's your desire. It's what you want. It's the start of your new life.

Once you've started your search, you'll find lots of blogs with destination weddings from the mountain towns near Breckenridge in Summit County. Let's me tell you a little bit about where they are. Silverthorne is right off the highway and is the first town you come down after you drive through the Eisenhower Tunnel. You can get to Keystone and Dillon from this exit. One more stop west and you'll get to Frisco, which is the exit you take to drive nine miles south to Breck. The next town is then Copper Mountain. It's hard to choose which town you want to be based in, let alone which photographer you'd like to have document your day.
