Laura + Sam: Beaver Creek Colorado Wedding at Saddle Ridge
Fall Wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado
Today's post is all about Laura + Sam: Beaver Creek Colorado Wedding at Saddle Ridge with images courtesy of Frances Photography. There are a few wildflowers out there, but they're quickly going to fade and there's a definite crisp in the air. We actually had snow a week ago, up high on the peaks. The green aspen leaves are starting to turn yellow on the tips. Fall is an absolutely gorgeous time of year to get married. Summer crowds are gone and kids are back in school. And, thunderstorms and rain are typically less threatening at this time, but we're in a bit of rainy stretch this year. It's ok, it helps with all the wildfire danger out there in Colorado.
Saddle Ridge Wedding Reception
This unique wedding venue near Vail, Saddle Ridge is in Beaver Creek, and is a stunning inside with lots of wood, historic memorabilia and large chandeliers that create a grand atmosphere to celebrate in style. And, the Beav is definitely the most stylie of all the mountain towns, if I do say so. Escalators bring skiers to the slopes during the winter, where warm cookies await you when you return. It's "not exactly roughing it" and that was the tagline they used for years too because it works. Ask us how we can help you plan an elopement, destination wedding or some other combination of vendors and services in a custom wedding package that we put together especially for you. From the bride Laura:Everything went exactly as Sam and I envisioned. the weather was perfect, and being able to have my wedding in beaver creek where I grew up vacationing with my family all my life was magical and held a lot of sentiment. Saddle Ridge has a great elegance and rustic western ambiance which is exactly how i have always envisioned my wedding. All the vendors we worked with were amazing and brought my visions to life.As many do these days, a lot of inspiration was found on pinterest. DIY projects I did were name cards and table cards (which was a lot of fun!) Frances has pictures of those... Also the actual ceremony was very personal as sam and i picked out readings used, songs used, etc and Sam's sister-in-law conducted the ceremony. Sam and I come from interfaith families so having the ceremony outside was very spiritual for us. Aside from all the excellent work and commitment my mother, father, sister and all the vendors put forth to make our wedding day so spectacular, to this day, nothing makes my heart glow more than hearing my new husband say "THAT WAS THE BEST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE!!"
