We have many favorite locations here in the mountains, but this snowy spring Officers Gulch elopement leaves no question why it’s one of our favorite spots!
Officers Gulch is one of those sneaky gorgeous spots. It’s right off of I-70, which doesn’t sound super appealing at first, but when you consider it’s easy accessibility & gorgeous views, it’s an easy favorite for a mountain elopement location that you don’t want to have to hike to get to.
Back to it’s location being right off I-70, just a few notes: you can subtly hear the traffic noise & see the highway. The sound is more of a hum than anything else, and you can only see the traffic when you’re racing back toward the road, like in the above photo. Neither are deal-breakers, in our opinion, but something to be aware of as your consider an Officers Gulch elopement.
