Snowboarder + Skier = LOVE // Setting Up For A Rocky Mountain Wedding at Ten Mile Station and in the T-Bar at One Ski Hill Place in Breckenridge, Colorado

I've always taken photos of the arrangements as we drop off, and this Breckenridge wedding ceremony was held on the deck at Ten Mile Station, while the reception was held at One Ski Hill Place later that day.  The ceremony location is set part way up Peak 9, accessed from a ski area maintenance road on the first southern parking lot at the Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center.

I've seen other vendors not familiar with the area unable to find the road to Ten Mile, as it's not easily seen.  I'll do a special post in the future that will be able to show you exactly what to look for, so you're on time and everyone's happy.  The bouquets above were created using Delphinium, Zinnia, Gerbera Daisies, and Cosmos.

As you get higher up on the mountains, small, well not that small, patches of snow still cling to the upper slopes, where the air is much cooler.  For every 1,000 feet you gain you lose 3-5 degrees in temperature, or at least it's close anyway.  Bottomline, the higher you go, the cooler it gets.  This is the scene at the Peak 8 Fun Park earlier this summer.

The T-Bar is aattached to One Ski Hill Place, the Ski Hill Grill, and is where the gondoa unloads before turning around heading down back to the center of town.  Park downtown, ride the gondola up, and then check out the these slopeside mountain wedding venues, lodging properties and activity options.  There really is so much to do in the Breckenridge and Summit County area, and we plan on sharing it all over time!  Thanks for reading!!
