[Venue] Sevens at the base of Peak 7 in Breckenridge, Colorado
At the base of Peak 7 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort, is the Grand Lodge on Peak 7, a slopeside, ski-in, ski-out property that is a fractional ownership opportunity presented by the team at Breckenridge Grand Vacations. This company, is owned by a few local families who launched the Grand Timber Lodge, another fractional ownership opportunity, closer to Peak 9.
Managed by the team at Breck Hospitality, Sevens Restaurant services thousands of skiers and visitors to Breck every winter. Only a handful of weddings happen during the busy ski season, while the majority of events occur during the warmer summer months.
This blog is a collection of images from Alissa and Brad's wedding this past weekend. They chose to have snow cats lighting up the dark mountain slopes at night, while guests listened to local crooner Moe Dixon strum away, creating memories that last a lifetime. This is the Sevens Restaurant at the base of Peak 7.
Ski down one of the cruisers on Peak 7 and find yourself at the Sevens Restaurant.
Walk through two sets of doors and ask yourself, bar to the left, or tables and booths to the right. Go left, young man.
The area between the bar and the patio. You can see the side door on the middle right that opens to the patio throughout the night, while the double doors mentioned above keep the hoodlums out. Well, except for the ones you invited, right?
Looking up to the outside patio at Sevens.
Looking at the bar and cake table / dessert bar in the middle. Coffee, tea and water is on the middle left.
Ask me on how to work with the ski area for a few photos with a snow cat. If that works, please share your photos with us!
Guests sit outside, in winter. In jackets. But, under heaters. Watching two friends get married.
The outside ceremony had tall cylinder vases with pillar and floating candles.
The reception room.
The boys enjoy a few beverages while snowcats do laps outside, perfecting the snow for tomorrow's skiers.
