Engagement at Hanging Lake
Today's post features Haley + John: Hanging Lake, Colorado Engagement Photography with images courtesy of Molly Blair Photographer. This gem of a hike is very popular and I can see why the engaged couple decided to stage their shoot here. Right off of I-70 is Hanging Lake. A short, yet steep, hike to a "hanging lake" that is the location of a small mountain lake with floating logs and small waterfalls. Signs discourage visitors from walking on the logs that stretch into the lake, so don't be that guy and walk on the log. Please respect the trail and this pristine area that is heavily used by frequent visits from nature lovers. Please love the nature and help take care of it.

Haley and John are getting married in the city so they wanted something that showcased the Colorado outdoors. I had always wanted to do an engagement session up at Hanging Lake, but I knew that it would be a challenge, because it is a hike. We started really early in the morning to avoid as many tourists and insure a good parking spot. It was totally worth it!
