ALBUM STORY

Vanessa and Pete live in the sleepy northern area of Muskoka, Ontario. It is known well by North Americans as the go-to luxury summer cottage destination. Vanessa met Pete on a blind date back in 2007 at a redneck trailer party. Their mutual friend thought they would be perfect for each other. Vanessa wore skinny ripped jeans and a hooters t-shirt and Pete wore a white t-shirt. Pete proposed to Vanessa in August 2014 at her parents home a day early then planned as he didn't want to lose the ring! It was a private moment away from everyone. Pete purchased the stone for the ring from a family friend who was a jeweller, and had it custom made by a designer in Oakville, Ontario.

For the engagement session, Vanessa and Pete wanted to include personal touches including custom made adirondack chairs, a family heirloom quilt, and cowboy boots, that Vanessa plans to wear to the wedding! Vanessa's chose three outfits for the session that represented her personal style. The first, a flowered H&M dress with cowboy boots. She also wore a gorgeous Maxi dress by Knot Sisters of LA, purchased at Belle's Boutique in Muskoka. The pair also wore sweatshirts from Muskoka Bear Wear.

Vanessa and Pete included their beloved dog, Jherico in their session.. he was so well behaved!
