Katherine + Shaun: Colorado Mountain Wedding at the Vail Racquet Club
Fall Outdoor Wedding Ceremony in the Vail Valley
Today's post is all about Katherine + Shaun: Colorado Mountain Wedding at the Vail Racquet Club with images by Katie Keighin Photography. The weather gods cooperated with beautiful weather before a clear tent awaited at the venue. You never know what's going to happen, so I'm glad to see that the day went smooth, and I'm able to share them with you today. It looks simple enough, but you know that there was plenty of thought and effort going into those moments on the hillside. From the chairs to the hair, there are details that take time. And, how much time do you have? Please contact us to learn more about how we can help you work with vendors you find on our blog and help you find those that you'll be needing later on.
Vail Racquet Club Colorado Wedding Reception
Big venues are absolutely great for convenience and packages that include room, food and lodging. Vail and Beaver Creek have lots of options for upscale lodging and venues, and we've planned destination weddings for those areas, and we love the Vail Valley. Most know Vail for its back bowls and epic skiing, but it's an absolute summer paradise that's filled with wildflowers, creeks and trails begging to be explored. Take the gondola up and ride or walk down. Or, ride it back down and head to the village to explore the shops and have a nice lunch in one of the many restaurants. We appreciate all the photographers sharing their images with us, and we look forward to sharing more soon! Thanks for stopping by.
We met as clueless college kids working at a local bar on campus. We were friends for a while at first, and we didn't really hit it off until we went on a Halloween party bus with all of our coworkers. Shaun told his buddy he was going to marry Kat after that party bus.Fast forward a few years of graduations, long distance, and steady dating and we moved in together in a tiny studio in Denver Colorado. It was our first time living together and apart from all of our family and friends. After 3 years of dating, Shaun made the decision to move their relationship forward. He planned an engagement and an engagement party with Kat's friends while keeping it all a secret from her. Shaun proposed to Kat while on a hike in Golden Colorado, and completely took her by surprise. A few weeks later all of our friends came out for an engagement ski party in Vail and we had the most amazing time celebrating with our favorite people. We couldn't imagine getting married without our closest friends and family standing there with us, which is how we ended up with 12 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen. We may have had the largest wedding party in the world, but it was well worth it. Our wedding day was honestly the greatest day of our lives, and we couldn't be more grateful for this adventure we've been on for the last 4+ years together.
